A sad Aftertaste:
Josh Sack, drummer for The Brakes, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in August, 2007 and died on May 4th, 2008, two days before the day of the release "Tale of Two Cities". So the Album is a Tribute to Josh!

I saw this band at WXPN festival on Friday and bought the new CD. They stole the show. I was searching them out to find more about them and I just happened to stumble across your post. Figured I'd give a shout out! This album is incredible.
I'm deeply pleased by your recognition of The Brakes. I am their manager. IT's always great to see them discovered.
