Do you Remember Arc Angels?
This is the Side-Project of Eric Claptons "Left Hand" Doyle Bramhall II,
duelling with Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon, the Rythm-Section of Stevie Ray Vaughan, formed in 1990! And beside Doyle stands Charlie Sexton, singing and playing the rythm guitar, that Doyle can play his soul out!
This Show is a Rip of the official DVD, filmed at Houston in 2005!

Now we're arriving back in the Eighties!
No good Time for Music, everone was trying to put synthesizer
in his Music, but for what Price?
New Wave, the terrible Synthie-Pop of the Eighties!
I can't listen to most of that crap,
but one Band shines over all!
There was something different to the other Bands, named Talk Talk!
And they were brilliant.
Leader Marc Hollies sails his "Ship" from New Wave to Pop,
from Pop to Pop-Rock, ending up in Jazz!
But the Result was brilliant!
This two Albums and their Masterpiece "Spirit of Eden" are the Centerpoints of Talk Talk's Work! With the 1986-Live Show they were also guests at the Jazz-Fest at Montreux!
Seen on their Live-DVD "Live from Montreux"!

Fantastic new Album by Grand Avenue! It's a bit darker and stronger than the last Album "The Outside"! But 100 % Grand Avenue!

Saw them live at Munich on the "Place To Fall"-Tour this Year!
Marvellous.......Only 4 guys on Stage, but what a Sound!!

Silvertide - Show and Tell (2004)

Awesome Debut of Silvertide! Their Style is a Mixture of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Candlebox.
Really great! Only one Song doesn't fit in their Flow: "Heartstrong", a horrible Ballad.

Outstanding: "California Rain", "Ain't coming Home", "S.F.C.", "Mary Jane", "Foxhole J.C."

Dave Mason - Alone Together (1970)

This one's in a Row with Gene Clark's "No Other".
Dave Mason never gets so good like on "Alone Together"! Listen to the Solo on "Look at you, Look at me", absolutely mindblowing!

Delays - Everything's the Rush (2008)

Wow! Amazing! Never heard of them before, but this one's a Must-Have too!!
Very colorful; it reminds me on "The Feeling", "The Shining", "Infadels", "The Stills", "Carolina Liar", and on "Pieces" a litle bit on "The Verve".
By the Way, there is no Women in this Band - if you think so - only four Men!!!

Outstanding: "Girl's on Fire", "Touch Down", "Pieces", "Keep it Simple"...

Only the Cover-Art is a real bad Choice!!

Love is Here (2002):

"Quiet is the new Loud", under this slogan Starsailor gets very big in 2002! But the Album is too dark, only 2 or 3 real Highlits are on the record.
Outstanding: "Good Souls"

Silence is easy (2004):

The difficult second album was produced by Phil Spector, and in my opinion, the first "real" Starsailor Album! Nearly every Track is a Hit, but not for Starsailor:
At this Time, Phil Spector gets arrested for killing a woman, and under that bad Shadow "Silence is easy" wasn't really recognized!
Outstanding: "Music was saved", "Silence is easy", "Telling them", "Born again"

On the Outside (2006):

For me, their best Album! This one rocks and rocks and rocks... The Story behind the dirty Sound: Starsailor recorded the album at LA, and at the same Time "The Queens Of The Stone Age" were in the Studio for their latest Album" Era Vulgaris".
James Walsh said, they were infected of the Rock Sound and so "On the Outside" gets its style.

Starsailor - All the Plans (2009)

Outstanding new ALbum of Starsailor!
More in the Way of "Silence is easy", Starsailor go back to their Roots!
I think "The Verve" will hate them for their ingenious Album, cause they waste their Time with "Forth", and Starsailor wrote the better "Verve-Songs" like 'Neon Sky" or 'Change my Mind'!

Outstanding: "The Thames", "Neon Sky", "Change my Mind", "Listen Up"
